GUIDED VISITS

Para conocer más detalladamente el Museo Etnográfico y su colección, puede concertar una visita guiada. En ella descubrirá la historia, la cultura y las tradiciones talaveranas.

1. Visita guiada a través de la Sala Permanente del Museo, donde se explica al visitante los diferentes espacios de nuestra exposición.
2. Yacimiento Arqueológico de Tenerías, donde puede ver el lugar de trabajo de los monjes Jerónimos y aprender cómo era la laboriosa tarea de teñir y curtir pieles.
3. Almacén Visitable. La Sombrerería de Cándido Martín. Adéntrate en la sombrerería que se ubicaba en la calle Mesones. Una recreación de la tienda y el taller con los elementos originales, como mostradores, vitrinas y cajas. Junto con toda la maquinaria y herramientas con las que los operarios elaboraban los sombreros.
4. Visita guiada por el exterior de nuestras instalaciones mediante la cual descubriremos la historia del Puente Viejo, los murales de Pescadores y Mondas y para finalizar, los exteriores del Monasterio de Santa Catalina.

Guided visits are available if you are interested in learning more about the Ethnographic Museum and its collection. You will discover the history, culture and traditions of Talavera.

1. Guided tour through the Permanent Room of the Museum, where the different areas of our exhibition are explained to the visitor.
2. Archaeological Site of Tanneries, where you can see the workplace of the Jerónimos monks and learn about the laborious task of dyeing and tanning skins.
3. Visitable Warehouse. The Cándido Martín Hat Shop. Enter the hat shop that was located in Mesones Street. A recreation of the store and workshop with the original elements, such as counters, display cases and boxes, along with all the machinery and tools with which the workers made the hats.
4. Guided tour outside the museum, through which you will find out about the history of the Old Bridge, the Fishermen and Mondas murals and, finally, the outdoor part of the  Santa Catalina Monastery.
